honestly...

I AM STILL ALIVE. I will be taking some pictures this week to get y'all updated on what has been happening knit wise in my part of the knitting realm.

Completed: Luka and CanCan. I am SO thankful that Luka is done. It's not that I mind knitting for other people, but when there are all these things that I would rather knit for myself I really hate to waste the time knitting for others. I know that is SO selfish. But what can I say ... so much yarn, so little knitting time.

I also pretty much completed all my goals for last month and now need to set up some new one's for this month. Although, the month is pretty much half way done. I am working on a really cute sweater out of Zoe Mellor's Animal Knits ... its of a chicken on a blue sweater. My first piece of colorwork. I am actually enjoying it. One of the great things about working in a yarn store is that you are always challenged to try new techniques and continually learn.

What else do I have on the needles:

OH I started this kick ass sweater from a book called "simply knit". I am doing it out of Rowan's Wool Cotton and am loving it. (yes I will get a picture). I am also using Berroco's Monet to do up a shawl. Plus last but not least there is my becky wanna be sweater. I am almost up to the striping part of it. The yarn I am using is Dalegarn's Svale. I am liking it quite a bit.

Plus I got a fab new knitting bag.

Ummm...what else... I think that is it for now. But more to come. Promise.

still knitting

I'm alive ... honestly. Although my journal doesn't really show it. I have been knitting too! I am rather proud of myself as I completed pretty much all of my goals for the month of June. I am going to write more later, I don't have the time right now, but I just wanted to say that I am alive and well!!
