September 24, 2003ohh we are rockin...Trouble with a capital T. I bought a lap top today and a wireless connector for my computers. So now I have internet anywhere in my house. This is awesome since I have Cameron and there are times when I want to be online but don't dare leave the little rugrat alone. Now I am hoping that I am going to be able to update more since I will be able to be online whenever! Posted by Morgan at 11:27 PM

September 21, 2003disciplineDiscipline ... we don't need no freakin discipline! BRING ON THE KOIGU! yes i started on the koigu. I just couldnt' wait. Honestly. ~sighs~ I also started a few other projects. I'm really bad about this. BUT i have an excuse. i want my hubby to have a nice cabled sweater for when He goes back to Canada in the winter for the Grey Cup. Then because He is getting a cable sweater I need one too. Oh and did i mention that there is a raffle at Cameron's daycare and I am going to knit something for that too? Geez, i should just become "Morgan the Jolly Excuse Maker" Posted by Morgan at 11:02 AM

September 19, 2003moving alongI thought that i would have had time to work on this earlier. But I didn't. One of my best friends passed away early monday morning. It is very sad BUT it is also a relief as He was suffering terribly. Pete i love you. I have been spending quite a bit of time knitting ... i knit and think of Him, or i knit to get away .... i love the therapy it gives to me. Anyways. I have updated my goals, projects and gallery. I need to get pictures for the rest of the projects in the gallery that aren't up there at the moment but before i do that I really need to just make a gallery page. Due to the overwhelming need to knit with Koigu I came up with a pattern for a sweater that will be great over a pair of jeans with a light shirt on underneath for the fall. So I am wanting to knit on that desperately. To do that I have to finish my stash attack vest which is a project for work. Ohhh the discipline. I also purchased some Rowanspun Aran in burnt orange for a cable sweater that is in the vogue anniversary issue. I want to start that pretty soon also. But i have one dilemma. Well okay, two dilemma's. The first is that I am working on a project for someone and i need to spend some time on it. And the second is that I really want to knit my husband a sweater. SO I need to figure out what to do for my husband, while putting time in for the other project. And ... the neatest thing happened yesterday. I met Ann from Mason-Dixon Knitting. I had discovered her journal when I was travelling in Canada. Then she came into the store yesterday and it was so neat. To meet another knitter that i know from the internet. And she brought in her current rowan project ... a beautiful lace shawl out of mohair. She has way more patience than moi. Posted by Morgan at 7:54 AM

September 16, 2003re-evaluating...okay, so I am re-evaluating my project list at the moment. Some of my projects just aren't inspiring me like they should, while others are beckoning me to them. So that is what I am currently doing. As I do this, I will be changing my project lists. I have finished the 'Kim' sweater. I am almost done the 'Stash attack' vest. Both of these are for the store. I have one more to finish and then its on to my stuff. I have some schaeffer yarn that I really want to knit with. I think I am going to be doing a sweater out of one of the vogue 'How To' books. Of course there is Koigu .. I have a trunk full of it now. a whole trunk of it. i am in love!! Is that a sickness? to be in love with yarn? Posted by Morgan at 8:33 PM
