January 25, 2004pictures, no picturesI have my Banff back and front on the blocking board. But I can't find my digital camera. Not that I have looked that hard. But still, I don't know where it is. SO you are not getting any pictures tonight. I have however finished the two main pieces. [an obvious assumption since they are both on the blocking board]. I am working on my first sleeve. Since i am travelling this weekend I want to get it done. Supposidely it is supposed to be minus 30 there .. well that is the temperature right now. So of course i need a nice warm comfy sweater. I have more to say, but the Golden Globes are distracting me. Posted by Morgan at 8:35 PM

January 21, 2004braces = knitting timeI got braces on yesterday. This in itself is not that big of a deal. But because of the pain associated with the 'next day' i took some time off of work. The last thing that I knew I wanted to do was be nice and helpful when my mouth ached. Which it does. But again, thats not the point. The point is that I am getting some quality knitting time done. Yesterday I finished the first side of Banff. I am knitting it out of Rowan's Rowanspun Chunky Color Green Waters. It is knitting up extremely fast which I am enjoying. I wasn't going to start another project but I am heading to Calgary for the weekend at the end of the month and thought that this would be the perfect sweater to wear there! I am hoping that I will get quite a bit of knitting time today and tomorrow while the pain subsides in my mouth. *fingers crossed* Oh and on a Cameron note: My little man took 6 steps all by himself yesterday. He is growing up so fast! Posted by Morgan at 6:59 AM

January 11, 2004one for the money, two for the showwell ... in all reality there was no money or show. But the song was in my head as i was getting ready to write this entry ... seemed like a good title to get the song outa my head since I am not that much of an Elvis fan. I finished this fantastic poncho yesterday. Made from Muench's Naturwolle in color #67. On the bottom and the top of the poncho i crocheted Berroco's chunky chinchilla in dark green. It is quite beautiful. I also finished a pair of mittens ... since it has been cold enough in TN to wear them. I have such issues finishing projects that I believe that I deserve something fantastic for finishing two projects! I just don't know what it is yet. Perhaps I'll get to start something new for me soon. Now I am working on the Pyramid Jacket ... It is done in pieces but all together. I am done one side and am currently working on the back. This I should be done by the end of this month. Now am I being way to optimistic! The other thing that I will be working on this first quarter of the year is the TKGA's Advanced Beginner course. There are quite a few of us doing it which is of course a good thing since we can all share our problems and successes with each other. Yes I know Posted by Morgan at 6:41 PM
