introducing

Nashville's Stitch 'n Bitch Girls Angela and Angel.

Their website is being hosted by PrettyPosies.com which is of course run by the wonderful and talented Becky. Nothing like a small world. They signed up with Pretty Posies and Becky asked them if they knew me. And alas, they did! *chuckles* which is even funnier to me since i had been wondering about how the sisters were doing!

After spending the morning deleting those anon's and going through some of my favorite reads I am feeling rather inspired. I need to pick up my charlotte again. I have a mistake in it and I need to take it out, it was a frustrating moment for me but I do love my charlotte. Seeing that everyone is on the charlotte bandwagon I need to finish mine. Plus, one of the girls at the store (stephanie: a singer, artist and just all around way cool woman) knit a very neat poncho so I think that I'm going to cast it on and do it for some mindless and quick knitting. I need to finish a project to feel some accomplishment. I also haven't done any of Audrey, which is BAD BAD BAD yet i'm starting to feel inspired again on that front. I love the sweater but I also don't have the body to wear it at the moment. BUT I am on the path to losing weight (if only I wouldn't self sabatoge myself) so I think that I am going to dive in and do it. Rather than WAIT to get to the right size.

Now there is a bit of a better knitting update.

Yes?

Hello out there!!!

Sorry that I have been so remiss in my posting. Bad bad blogger.

The thing is, I don't have much to say! Knitting wise, I haven't done much (which of course bugs me). I've been busy with work and work. The yarn store moved. ITs new location is beautiful.

Its super early in the morning, but its the last day of May, So i figured I should at least post something.

Now I have to go and delete all the comments from those anonymous bots that post stupid messages to my blog!

Happy memorial day!

a non title entry

I hate coming up with titles some days and today is one of those days.

I have been knitting. While it is slowish at work I am able to get knitting done when I'm not doing some of the other things that I've taken with me (aka schoolwork). There have been a few posts as of late about guilt when it comes to stash and thus people knitting out of their stash rather than buying yarn (or ignoring their stash and just adding to it). I do not have any guilt over my stash size and do plan on continuing to increase it. Looking at the yarn makes me happy and I have to say, I do tend to panic if I feel like I am getting low. Yes, this is the sign of an addict but hey, see the name of my blog? I'm not denying it.

I have however decided that I am going to knit a bit of my unfinished projects. This is more about making a healthier me. I am horrible at finishing things. So I am working on doing just that. While at work last week I made up a 'to do' list of things that I would like to get done around the house and just in general. So far I have completed a couple of things on my list and that has felt great. One of those things has been to work on a sweater that I started a few weeks ago. It is a quick knit and I'm enjoying it. Its not one that I'll be wearing anytime soon yet still, its gonna get done!

Pictures will come eventually. When I'm not that tired.

Look Ma...

Look Ma ... no hands. Cameron has been walking with his walkers for months. He can go backwards and forewards and was able to move things out of his way. So, its not like he couldn't walk, its that He didn't want to do it WITHOUT holding on to things. Sure the little bugger would take a step here or there, sometimes even five or six. But never more than that. Well today things changed. All day at daycare he had been walking a bit more they were really working with him. When i picked him up i kept moving away so that he would have to take more and more steps. Then we got home and went out in the backyard, walking around, holding my hand and playing. So we came in after a little while and played some more, working on it, and suddenly it was like he just got it! He walked from the living room coffee table to the kitchen table for dinner. After that He just wouldn't stop. I am SO happy.

I really ....

Must apologize for the lack of entries. I just have not had a lot of time to knit lately (which trust me is frustrating) and thus have nothing to report. I promise though that I will make an effort to get something together soon picture wise.

As for KSP ... THANKYOU. I love my soap and washcloth. Have used both already!!!!
