manalong

Its a manalong baby!!

It took me a bit of time to figure out what I wanted to do for this knit along. I decided on a sweater from Phildar's Hommes attitude. It is a classy ribbed turtleneck that I am going to do out of Rowans Wool Cotton in a medium grey color.

I also signed up with Bloglines today to help with streamlining my internet time. Although not every blog was able to be on there most were which I know is going to be a great asset. Its worked already for me. I have the little indicator and everything on my task bar.

As for everything else. I am getting my packages together for both my skp2 and my skp3. I am having fun doing it. Getting things together that I think they will like. It really is fun to give things to other people. As much as i love getting things (oh how I love it!) I also really enjoy giving them. I think I even know what the 'final' gifts are going to be.

I was promoted at work. I am now officially the Office Manager of my branch. This is huge. In the last eight months my salary has increased over 100%. Its a pretty cool thing. School also started for me this week. Five classes. Full time work, mom and wife. I know that I am crazy. BUT I have fourteen classes left (including the one's I'm currently doing) So if I can just push it that means that I am going to be done by summer of next year. It is worth it for me.

I know that I still owe you all pictures. I will get one of charlotte this weekend. I am hoping it will stay nice enough that I will be able to drape it over the fence outside to get a good picture.

I have also been working on a cute sweater for Cameron from one of the new Miss Bea's books. That should be done this weekend or early next week. I need to finish one sleeve and the neckband.

Also, I have been working on a few projects for my secret knitting pals.

AND I am working on a vest for a store model. I am loving the vest as it is fair isle. I am almost at the point where I am going to be able to start carrying it around with me. After a certain point its all one color.

here i am

I am here. Honestly. I have been ubber promoted at work. I have been given a ton of responsibility and I am loving it. Its awesome. I have been working on a sweater for Cameron. I have charlotte finished.

I just need to be home, when its bright out to take pictures. But I am here.

AND I love my two secret knitting pals, they are both so awesome!

So here I was going to write this post about how I had finished Charlotte and get advice on whether to fringe it or not. But I just spent the last 30 minutes deleting all the spam from my account. And my online time is done. Its almost like a tease. I know.
