finished project & more yarn

Why yes, I do have a finished project AND a very cute boy to model it.

Miss Bea's Playtime (i think) Rowans All Seasons Cotton

Cameron will be two years old on December 18. Its amazing how fast the time is going. His vocabulary is growing all the time AND he is becoming a bit of a shit disturber. He has this little evil laugh that he does when he is being goofy and it just cracks me up. Also, there are days when he is just full of it. But I love being a mom. He was definately a little miracle waiting to happen.

Now, enough mushy kid stuff. Here is the bag I've been promising to show:

Just what is in the Angel Hair Yarn bag?

Can you guess what is in the bag? This is the largest bag that they have at the shop not that you can tell from this picture. Okay I'm not going to make you wait that long to see it. That would be mean.

why its some koigu

A little bit of koigu never hurt anyone. Unless of course you are me and have two dresser drawers full of it and a trunk plus what is in this bag. This month I was able to add all this koigu to my stash. Just how much koigu did you ask?

61 skeins

I'm a freakin' addict.

bye bye camera

My digital camera has gone to the digital camera graveyard.

*moment of silence*

But don't be alarmed. No folks I tell do not be alarmed. I was able to get a substitute for my camera and even a printer for the pictures *trying hard not to rejoice here*

So the pictures that I have been meaning to show you, well I am going to have retake them. Until that time, know they are in the works.

Oh and I spent the evening (I have a touch of either a cold or the flu *ick*) rearranging my knitting/computer/school work area so that I have my pressing projects around me. The one's like xmas gifts and stuff.

guess whats in the bag...

I did have a picture of the bag, but I can't find the cord for my camera so that I can download them.

There was a huge sale at Angel Hair Yarn Company last weekend.

I won't even begin to tell you how much I spent. BUT I could have bought a round trip ticket in the off season home to see my mom.

Anyways, I will post a picture of the bag. I know some of you are going to FREAK out!

presents!

Here I go away for a few days out of town and I come back and have not one, but FOUR packages here for me. Life is definately good!

MY SKP2 is Zeneedle!!!!!! She is SO awesome. I got a 2005 Knitting Pattern a Day Calendar. I didn't even know such a thing existed. Thank you so much Margene for your kindness. I actually have started some socks with the yarn you sent. I also got a book for Cameron, some candy and some things to pamper me with! You have been a great SKP and you had me fooled. I had NO clue who it was!

Next package. From my SKP3. See I told you that I was a lucky girl. My skp is from overseas it seems and my skp got me a Starbucks cup that says PARIS on it!! I collect these!! I have them from all over the world. I am amazed!! I also got some treats and a card!! AND magnets that she had made!!

Next package. Another from my SKP3!! I got the NEW Phildar for fall!! Non US standard knitting needles (YAY!!!) candy!! and some Bouton d'Or silk/wool blend in a beautiful blue. I know exactly what I am going to make with it. The Irish Hiking Scarf that everyone is doing!!

I am SO blessed. I can't write anymore. I need to go drink tea out of my new mug and look through all my GOODIES!
