Happy Thanksgiving my friends in the South

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

Sorry I haven't been writing but things have been busy. I am slaving working on my sweater for my knits with your wits class. I have the two front pieces done and am working on both sleeves at once. The class is over but I have a goal to get it done by Christmas (okay, the week after christmas?)

I am not working on anything else right now since I am trying to get this done. The problem is that I am so tired at the end of the day that I am not knitting as much as I would like.

Though, I am doing one other log cabin blanket for Cameron. Its my no thinking knitting that I am working on during times when I don't care if it gets wet ... aka ... Cameron's bath time!

Work is BUSY. But it is really good. More on that later.

and Cameron and I just got over round one of the FLU!!! I am hoping that it will be the only time. but knowing my luck it won't be!!

1. I have 3 dogs.
2. Only 2 live with me.
3. I have one child.
4. I love my husband. Even through all the shit times. He is one person that I don't ever want out of my life.
5. I am addicted to yarn. (duh)
6. Starteritis is a bad habit that I can't seem to break. Though I am learning to finish things.
7. TV time consists of watching reality tv shows (only the good one's) and shows like West Wing, Alias and Grey's Anatomy.
8. I am currently losing weight.
9. I don't own enough Koigu even though I have about 200 skeins (last time I counted)
10. I love where I live
11. My mom is my best friend.
12. I go to a councellor and for the first time in a long time I am actually dealing with myself and my past even if there are times I hate doing it.
13. I watch Extreme Home Makeover because it gives me an hour a week where I can openly cry.
14. I would like more children.
15. I exercised today.
16. I have been depressed since I was 12. But am working on that. See #12.
17. I am on Jenny Craig because I am too unmotivated to cook for myself. I am enjoying it a lot.
18. I miss my friends in Nashville. I miss my yarn store in Nashville There are days I wish I was back in Nashville.
19. I am currently reading 'A million little pieces' and I'm not sure if I like it or not yet. Which is frustrating because I want to like it.
20. I am currently knitting my heart out on two projects. My sweater for my knit with your wits class and my scarf for my stitch ya neck out pal with my brand spankin new needles that i had to get to replace my beloved Denise's that my dog ate.
21. (an extra for good luck) I love Christmas lights. The colorful ones. I could sit in the dark with them and a fire all year round. I could however do without all the christmas commercials that are already playing!

stitch ya neck out

I came home today to find the scarf I am working on for my pal and the dogs had EATEN my DENISE NEEDLES and the yarn was all over the place. Thankfully they only ripped out half of it. Little mf'ers.
