finally, able to talk

Okay everyone, I haven't been posting much for a couple of reasons, laziness is one of them, however, the other is that LOTS has been going on and I didn't want to jinx anything!!

First news: I am changing jobs. I gave my two weeks notice on Monday and start my new job on July 10th. I am SO pumped about this new opportunity. It is for another property management company however I will be the executive assistant for the president, vice president and director of construction. Instead of taking care of all the operations side (rents, lease input etc) I am going to be learning about the purchasing of property and building on those properties. PLUS so much more. This company is growing rapidly and has a long standing reputation in my community. Also, a good majority of the people working there have been doing so for a LONG time. The money was good too. They actually came in a lot higher than what their original quote on the position was going to be. AND 3 weeks vacation plus a flex day a month!!

Secondly, last night we found out that Ralph got a position here in CowTown. FINALLY!! It is all coming together. We are so excited that there will be no more commuting in about 4 months or so when he starts here. Our family will be together again!! YAY!!

So those are the BIG things that have been happening. On the spinning front ... well I have been doing a ton of that and not enough knitting. I am currently shopping for a new digital camera ... I want a good one so that I can give my crappy little one to Cameron to just destroy if he so chooses. Any ideas? email me with them!

My good friend Anne was here from Nashville yesterday. It was so fantastic to see her. She brought me a card signed by everyone at Angel Hair ... it made me get all teary. I miss everyone so much!! So it was really cool to get it. Thanks everyone!!

Ok ... off to spend time with the family ... I'll update some more *g* Eventually!

where have you been?

I swear that this should be a theme for my blog!

I am here. Busy. Holy crap busy. Yes I have been knitting. I am working on a log cabin out of Art Yarns and it is quite stunning! Pics soon because the yarn store will have pictures if I fail to take any!

Of course there have been yarn purchases too. And purchases for my new found obession ... spinning ...

Yes. I love my spinning wheel. She is beautiful. She is teaching me so much! I hope to show some of my spun up roving soon!

What else...Oh one of the major reason that I haven't been writing is because I am going through some changes. I received 3 different offers on Friday ... more on that next week once decisions are made.

I do promise to write more. I do. Really. I do.
