moved in...but...

I'm still unpacking. I am HOPING that I will have it all done tomorrow. Its 11:40 pm and I've been going non stop all day. I love my house

the Contest

Ok. So um. No one was right!! I will put all of your names in a draw though for some goodness.

More pictures soon. Its Thanksgiving here in Canada and I'm watching the first season of Six Feet Under.

Oh ... and yesterday I bought a new couch and chair for my new home. YEE HAW!!

a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a contest

First off, here is a photo of a sweater that I designed for my mom. It has 3/4 length bellish sleeves. I am looking for a cool funky pin to go with it for her to close it up. Right now she wears it open and loves it.

Yarn: Lorna's Laces Swirl Chunky
Colors: Ravenswood

You will notice that one of the sleeves has some pooling action happening. I didn't frog and start over because I actually like the way that it turned out. A very simple top down sweater and yet it has quite a bit of character. The yarn is UBER soft too!

Next up: Sock Wars

I finished my sock war socks last week and sent them off to my kill. I have not heard anything from my person but I do have a package at the post office. It could be the socks OR it could be some roving I ordered. Who knows! I really enjoyed this pattern and plan on knitting it again! Plus, the sock war idea was a riot.

Its freakin OCTOBER 1 PEOPLE!!!

I actually saw a commercial for Christmas air fresheners last night on tv.

*sigh*

Oh wait! That means I get to spend xmas in my NEW HOUSE!! and and and I get to KNIT sweaters ... and SPIN ... oh life is good!!
